Casanegra by, Blair Underwood and writers Tananarive Due and Steven Barnes is the bomb. I started this book this summer, but the fall has been busy. I picked it up again last week and zoomed through it this weekend. It was so easy to get back into because of the strong character development. Tennyson Hardwick aka Mr. Face (at least that’s what I remember him as) has several layers to his personality and the writers did an awesome job giving the readers several opportunities to visualize them all. The book keeps you guesting the entire way. It’s a little old (published in 2007), but it’s still a good read. So if you haven’t read it I suggest you check it out.
